Tournament: When the poker and fantasy communities collide

Boylesports’ offshoot BoylePoker has yet again proven its relevance in the field of online gambling with the introduction of an ingenious betting hybrid — fantasy poker.

More specifically, BoylePoker announced the formation of a WSOP Fantasy League which will allow its members to make a free prediction on which five players will take home WSOP bracelets. While participation is free, the prizes are nothing short of impressive.

The winner will net an expense-free ?1,000 GUKPT event package. Second place gets an IPO package, and third place gets an entry into the International Poker Open. The winners will be decided through a non-biased points-based system that rewards 10 points per final table and 30 for a win.

All three prizes offer a chance at even more cash, and as an added bonus members who correctly pick five bracelet winners will be on their way to an EPT event in a package that’s valued at ?5,000.

The fantasy poker league comes in conjunction with a number of other WSOP wagering opportunities recently announced by BoylePoker. In addition to your free fantasy poker entry, you may also place bets on featured player match-ups as well as individual earnings.

In case you haven’t marked it on your calendar yet, this year’s 40th Annual World Series of Poker starts on May 27, so you’ve got a limited amount of time to send in your BoylePoker fantasy league entry and make any other tournament-related wagers.
